The crown is a strong and reliable seal and will prevent any bacteria food or any other fluid or anything else that poses a threat to the newly treated area. There are crowns made from variety of materials which all vary in strength and appearance. The materials available vary from gold to porcelain. The porcelain crowns are the most camouflaged seal for root canal or any other purpose as they are a similar colour to enamel. Whilst some metals used to make crowns are very durable they can be unsightly.
